Home made tamarind sauce

Home made tamarind sauce!
Tamarind sauce is so delicious with Bar b Q, fish and in salads especially eastern. it is very rich in taste but when I bought it from market, it tastes like an artificially generated one. If you cook it at home you can easily understand the difference between the home made and market one.Nothing compete with what you cook at home because it is fresh and just cooked without any preservatives in it. That can be the reason that it tastes naturally.you can cook it at home with in 20 mints and with very simple ingredients that you find all of them in your kitchen.
If you are making it for salad than I recommend you to make it a day before and put in refrigerator. It has too flavors :a sweet one and a sour one. I like sweet one as it is friendly for your throat :) and taste much cooked one.If you want to make sour one than you just simply skip sugar from the ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
  • Tamarind             1 cup
  • Sugar                    4 table spoon
  • black paper          1/2 tsp
  • salt                        1/2 tsp
  • ajwine                     1 Tp(eastern ingredient easily available but if its not available its OK)
RECIPE:
put two cups of water in pan and put tamarind in it.mix it with spoon or hand to make it separate. As much it is separated as much it cook well.put sugar, black paper salt and ajwine in it and mix it and put it on low flame. let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes. you can cook according to your required thickness.
remove it from flame and let it cool down. put in refrigerator. use it whenever you want to use it.easily remain fresh and fine for week.
like or comment if you like it.
thanks! enjoy your life.

channay(gram salad) chat

Today I am thinking to share something from my kitchen. my sister helped me in making this salad and I am really thankful to her. It is the most popular salad in India. It is delicious as well as healthy.
GRAM SALAD
Very simple ingredients are used in it.
INGREDIENTS:

  1. GRAMS                                   3 CUPS
  2. ONIONS                                  3(NORMAL SIZE) DICED
  3. TOMATO                                3 (DICED)
  4. POTATOES                             5 (DICED) BOILED
  5. IMLI SAUCE  (tamarind)              PER TASTE
  6. CHAT MASLA (spice)                  PER TASTE
RECEIPE:
soak grams over night in water and 3TP salt and than boil them the next day. its a kitchen trick :) if you want to get soft and completely cooked grams.don't dry its water as it make them little harder. leave some water in it.
you can get imli sauce( tamarind sauce) from the market but if you cook it at home.you definitely fall in love with it as it is much in rich flavor than we buy from the market. I will share its receipe later or in the next post.
now the most important ingredient is chat masla. it is a specific spice which is commonly used in India for making some salads. you can easily get it from a market
now back to the simplest making of this salad. once you boiled grams and potatoes separately. Don't boil them together as both have different boiling time.now let grams cool down in its remaining water.when its cooled put diced onions, tomatoes, chat masla, and imli sauce(tamarind sauce) and lastly potatoes it and taste it.you can add chat masala and tamarind sauce according to your own taste. enjoy it!

I love that one!purple flower with some gliter sheets in center and gliters are thrown on edges of petals :*
Today I am going to share another flower made by chart papers or any kind of colored paper.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE IT:
  1. COLORED PAPERS
  2. SEIZORS
  3. HOT GLUE OR ANY KIND OF BOND (which stick quickly)
  4. PENCIL
  5. STAPLER
thats it!First of all select your favorite color of paper and cut it
After cutting the paper as much you required or as much big or small flower you wanna make.
bend it in a way that you can grip it in your two figures.
if you find short for petals, no problem at all! you can make with another colored paper and staple it with the last one.

now draw a circle on a paper and cut it with seizor. put on it hot glue or bond and simply paste it you will get your flower.
Here I make pics so that you could understand it quite easily .

grip it firmly while you are sticking the petals.once you find it done or sticked now you can decorate it according to your idea. paint it on through gilters on it.as I did on my purple flower. I pasted gilters sheets

hold it firmly.I made pics much I think :)
thats it.hope you like it.

stay blessed and indulge yourself in healthy activities.
